I travel a lot, so having a mat I can bring anywhere makes a big difference. Since I got the Damao Travel mat (1.5mm) it’s been in every single trip with me.
It’s foldable and very light, so I can use it in airports, hotel rooms, and sometimes even outdoors when I find a quiet place to practice.
I also use it on top of studio mats during classes: it keeps my practice more hygienic and still feels like practicing on my own mat.
I do mostly dynamic vinyasa, and I sweat a lot. What I love about Damao is that the grip actually increases when the mat gets wet, so the practice stays stable and smooth.
